About Me
I’m a writer and editor making science and history fun for kids, adults, and people interested in winning trivia contests. I enjoy digging deep in my research, diving after those difficult-to-find nuggets that make or break a piece. I’m a sucker for complicated answers to deceptively simple questions.
Games—particularly roleplaying games—are a passion of mine. I love collaborative play in all its forms, and I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with old and new players alike.
I’ve had over 100 nonfiction articles for kids and teens published. I write and design independent roleplaying games, and I’m a contributing writer on several game books.
I’m graphic designer on all my independent games and work on commission as well. I love making interesting, legible, and eye-catching layouts to showcase rules and worldbuilding.
I am based in Chicago, Illinois. I worked as Assistant and Associate Editor for nonfiction magazines at Cricket Media for five years. I’m currently associate editor for KNUCKLEBONE Magazine, and editor-and-writer-for-hire on projects of all shapes and sizes.
